We loved it! We visited last night and got a Pavarotti and a L'Infarctus. Both were excellent! We started the meal with a little basket of hot dough bread. With a little butter it was so hard not to eat the whole basket! Then the calzones came. There is a fragrent oil that goes over it, and a delicious hot sauce that is not too hot and just the right amount of vinegar gets mixed in to the oil on the plate. I don't normally like hot sauce, but this was perfect. The calzones were big and filled with all sorts of amazing ingredients. The man serving us was super nice and friendly, the food came fast. We will go back for sure.
Every time I come here, I have amazing food, and an amazing time! The service is always exceptional, the portions are huge, and everything is honestly just great! Seriously, there's a reason this place got profiled on "You've gotta Eat here".
The calzones are awesome!!! I always go back when I'm in town.
It was so hot inside we were sweeting a lot. The owner need to buy more A/C
Incredible food quality. A must go restaurant for calzones and pizzas enthusiasts.
The place looks like nothing from the outside, but it's a nice small restaurant. Good choice of calzones - be careful they are HUGE! Bring the rest of it for a second meal.
This is the best Calzone in town, and one of our favorite restaurant to go to. Don't shy out on their hot sauce that they server with their calzone!
Don't judge a book by its cover. Doesn't look like much from outside but cute & cozy inside. Excellent variety of Calzones. Large portions, delicious.
Calzones are tasty. Ambient and service are good. But not for all purses. Expect to spend about 55 bucks + tip for 2 basic calzones and 2 glasses of cheap wine. In 2 words tasty and expensive. By the way really loved their in house spicy red sauce!
Very good food, nice ambience.
Italian food. The calzones are out-of-this-world. Very cosy patio in summer. Friendly, warm staff. Very reasonably priced, you'll be able to indulge. Family and baby friendly. My fav spot in the neighbourhood. Riverside walk to digest. Update: The calzones are wicked, but there's also the Italian wine 🍷 and the "pudding chômeur" dessert 🍨 that are well worth mentioning. After another recent visit, I just can't say it enough how family friendly, funny and welcoming the staff is.
Way too expensive for what you get. The sausage appetizer is $10 for an inch of what tasted like Costco sausage. The only good part of the calzone was the cheese on top.
The best calzone I ever ate. Cozy place, great service, amazing ambiance. Will definitely come often.
Didnt know you could eat à sphere
Awesome food. 2nd time there amd will come back
Found myself at the Centre Videotron with a few minutes before a meeting. Found Casa Calzone on trip advisor and headed over for lunch. The restaurant is very small in space but huge in flavour and friendliness. Had my first ever calazone and loved every mouthful. The pastry was so light and the filling fresh and delicious. Sadly won’t be back in the area again but would love to try all 18 flavours.
Too much hype for what it was. The chorizo sausage appetizer is a 1 inch piece of sausage in a mountain of sauce. The calzone was pretty whatever. Nothing to drive more than 15 minutes for. We won't be deciding to go back anytime soon. The staff was very friendly and funny though. My drink also came with a plastic straw. I would have preferred if our server either asked if I wanted one or had left it on the side in it's paper wrapping. Just trying to do my part by not using single use plastics but it's very hard when restaurants don't make that effort either.
The food is very good, it's not so expensive for the great quality. The service is also very great, they are very kind!
Great place, great food, great service! Close to Centre Videotron.
Poor service, the waitress forgot our orders, took 50 minutes to get our calzones.. We specifically mentionned that we were attending a show, but they said it was normal to wait 20-25 minutes. When I said it's been 40 already, they went and checked; they forgot. It wasn't as good with a sour taste already in our mouth. Be sure to take extra time and make sure to ask the waiter if your order is on it's way!
Wow! This place was awesome! One of the best calzones (if not THE best) I've ever had. The presentation is really cool how it bubbles up. The mushroom goat cheese one was delicious. My wife and I split 1 calzone and 1 salad. The salad was good, but not my favorite type of salad...it was iceberg lettuce and a bunch of dressing...tasty, but not healthy/clean tasting.
One of my all time favorite, that place is incredible, the BEST Calzone I know with some funky twist, the entrees are super nice and all the ingredents are well selected 😍
I had the vegetarian calzone. It was satisfactory. Mostly air, slightly burnt on top and watery upon cutting into it. Little cheese and heavy on the olives but the artichoke pieces were hearty. Service was excellent and speedy. Drinks are overpriced a bit.
Excellent calzone! Service impeccable.
Such awesome service. Much wow!
Amazing calzones! Seating is a bit cramped but the patio is nice.
Fantastic service and delicious calzone's. Their carrot puree is a must have
Great calzones! Really cute pizza place in an unexpected location.
Amazing food, impecable yet personable, even humourous, service.
Not sure if they refused to serve English speaking customers, asian customers or both. :(
Outstanding local off the beaten track. Fantastic service and even better calzone. Awesome
Fantastic calzones. Pudding Chaumiere out of this world.
Unreal calzone , definitely worth trying if your in the area
A menu compose of different kind of calzone. We loved it.
Awesome calzones and friendly!
Great food, great ambiance, great service. This place is amazing!
Even though this little restaurant is a bit out of the way, their food was good enough for their clientele to follow them over (from centre ville)! From the special sauce topped, bursting, home-made calzones to their pizzas and pastas...I highly recommend giving this place a try.
Best calzone ever!!!
First time here. Visiting from Edmonton. The calzones here set the bar pretty high for others to follow. Can't go wrong. Moderately priced.
Best place that was on you gotta eat here
Amazing food. Good atmosphere. They speak English.
Awesome calzone/panzoratti. Excellent value, service, and food.
Best calzones I have ever had in my life!!! Definitely worth the stop if you are in beautiful Quebec city! This is one of my favourite restaurants and my family is always begging to go back whenever they come visit me in Quebec. Super friendly staff and very authentic, tasty, and most of all satisfying cuisine!!
Amazing experience. Super kind service and delicious food. Not overpriced at all. Calzones are shareable so 20/24 cad each is not different from any gourmet burger. Recommended!
Pretty good atmosphere and super friendly staff. Unfortunately I don't think the food is all that great.
Consistently the best Italian food you can find in Quebec
Calzone was good and was in large portion but it was just different than what I have expected for a calzone. Service was good except that he recommended a cesar salad which was... not too good and not too fresh. but excellent atmosphere and food!
Great food and trendy yet family friendly ambience
Some nice calzone varieties, but I'd honestly expect even more variety for a place specializing in one style. That being said, my two calzones were both delicious!
We've selected this restaurant randomly while touring Quebec and was pleasantly surprised by tasty food and nice service. I am not crazy about Italian food, but would come here again.
